Get Involved
Our team is actively searching for individuals of all abilities, all sectors and all ages to help us create a community wide mindset of substance misuse PREVENTION. Join as a member of our Adult/Teen coalition or let us know how you can be involved. Every effort creates a better environment for our teens.

Parent Toolkit
Inside you will find several tools (including nicotine and THC/marijuana tests) that will guide your family as we all work together to understand, remove and secure items in our community that put kids in danger. Please use this kit as a deterrent. We do not recommend giving any test before you sit down, have a discussion and allow your teen the opportunity to change behavior and ask for help, if needed.

Teen Program
Step Up of St. Louis is focused on showing our youth how much they are valued in our community. All community members and kids from all schools welcome. Middle – High School kids are invited to join our Teen Program: they will make new friends, plan awesome activities and learn valuable leadership skills!

Meet Step Up of St. Louis
Step Up is well connected, widely supported, young, hungry and has made significant headway with the partnership of community professionals. The board of directors and staff make huge impact by changing the expectations our community sets for itself, the distributors (and manufacturers) of these products, community families and our kids. Our focus covers alcohol, tobacco/nicotine, rx drugs and THC/marijuana. Want to join our team? Let us know!

Our Mission
To provide leadership, education, and resources to address and prevent substance abuse and unhealthy choices among St. Louis County area youth through the active collaboration of area schools, students, parents and all sectors of our community.
